Shareware Policy
This product is a copyrighted work and is not free! Thousands (literally) of hours went into its creation. Our shareware policy is explained in the file "About epsConverter".
What To Do Next
1) Read the file "About epsConverter" for an overview of the package, an explanation of our Shareware policy, and information on how to register.
2) Copy the epsConverter application to your hard disk.
3) System 6 users, if you are running under MultiFinder, increase the application's partition size. Select the epsConverter icon, choose "Get Info" from the Finder's File menu, and set the partition to at least 900K. [System 7 users do NOT need to do this!]
4) Double-click to launch epsConverter. The first time the application is launched, it will display the license agreement screen. Please read it carefully before clicking "Accept." Subsequent launches of the same copy of the application will not display the license agreement. [System 6 users, the license agreement will appear every time you launch until the application is registered, due to a System 7 dependency in the code.] Choose an EPS file to convert from the standard "Open File" dialog.
5) Register! Choose the "About epsConverter…" item from the Apple menu. Then, click the "Register…" button, fill out the on-screen form, and print it out. Mail or FAX us your order, as explained on the printed form.
Important Note: If your copy of epsConverter™ does not display its custom icon, or if you are unable to drop files onto the epsConverter icon under System 7, try rebuilding your desktop file. Restart your Macinotosh and hold down the Command and Option keys until you are prompted to rebuild the desktop, then click OK.
